Oliver’s Power Vacuum and Chimney Sweep has been offering residential commercial and industrial cleaning services on Vancouver Island in the Comox Valley and Campbell River areas since 1975.  We have recently expanded our business to the Parksville/Qualicum and Nanaimo areas.

You should have your oil furnace or boiler checked annually, and cleaned as required to help your air handling system operate more efficiently and save you money on your energy costs.

How often you need to have your ducts cleaned depends on several factors: 

• Does someone in your home or office suffer from allergies to grass, flowers, pet dander or dust?

• Do any of your family members or office employees have asthma?

• Is your home, office or apartment building near a construction, high traffic, or farming area?

• Do you have pets in your home or apartment building?
  
  
• Has it been more than five years since its last cleaning?

If your family members or employees have allergies, hayfever or asthma, it is recommended that you have your furnace ducts cleaned every one to two years.

If you live or work in a farming, construction, or high traffic area, it’s recommended that your duct cleaning be done every two to three years.
